On the morning of March 15, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Association of Extruded Aluminum (VAA) successfully organized the 2025 Mission Implementation Conference – VAA CEO SUMMIT 2025. The event gathered numerous member enterprises and industry experts to review the activities of 2024 and discuss development directions for the upcoming year.

Over the past year, the aluminum industry has experienced significant growth, driven by increasing demand from the industrial, construction, and renewable energy sectors. By the end of 2024, the total industry output had reached nearly 1.5 million tons, marking a 14.5% increase compared to 2023, further affirming aluminum’s crucial role in the production value chain and economic development.

Entering 2025—a significant milestone for Vietnam’s aluminum industry—delegates at the conference highlighted both opportunities and challenges amid the global economic recovery. With the shift toward green materials, aluminum continues to play a key role in construction, renewable energy, and consumer goods production. Discussions at the conference focused on trends in “green” aluminum production, automation, and quality standard improvements to enhance competitiveness in the international market.
